Swarthmore Increases Campus Safety With EmergenSee

EmergenSee Joins Swarthmore College To Promote National Campus Safety Awareness

Swarthmore Uses EmergenSee's Campus Safety App

Swarthmore Students Download The EmergenSee Safety App

At The National Campus Safety Awareness Event

EmergenSee’s Award Winning Campus Safety App, turns student smartphones into a personal safety device.  If a threat arises, the student simply taps the App. EmergenSee will live streams Audio, Video and GPS Location Data directly to Swarthmore’s Campus Safety, providing eyes on the scene in real-time.

Traditionally, campuses employed a blue light pole at various spots throughout the campus. The problem is, if you’re not within reach of a working blue light poles or you need to run from a particular area, you have no way to reach campus safety quickly.  EmergenSee’s technology uses a device the students carry in their pockets, all the time – Their smartphones!

If a student is going for a run, they can pre-set a timer.  If the alarm expires prior to deactivating, EmergenSee automatically starts an incident for them. Those who witness a crime or something suspicious, can send gps tagged data anonymously.

Students studying late or out with friends, walking back to their dorm late at night; select EmergenSee’s SafeWalk feature, which provides a precautionary live security escort, anytime, anywhere for any reason.

Within the personal profile, students can add pre-existing medical conditions and allergies. This allows campus security to arrive at the scene fully prepared to handle the incident. In addition to campus safety, student can add up to 3 Personal Safety Guardians they want notified in the event of an emergency.

Swarthmore College is one of the many campuses providing students, faculty and staff with the added protection of EmergenSee Safety App.
